Manufactured in New Zealand, the C-Tug is very tough, doesn’t corrode, has stainless steel reinforced axles and can be assembled and disassembled in seconds. With adjustable hull supports and strong webbing straps it can also transport a canoe, dinghy or tender. A pair of C-Tugs can even be used for catamaran hulls offering substantial savings on a conventional multi-hull trolley.

Capable of carrying 120kg (265lbs), which equates to three or more kayaks, the reinforced composite construction has been engineered to offer sophisticated styling and precision design. For assembly a simple X-frame locks together to support the wheels and hull supports. The wheels quickly slide over the stainless steel reinforced axles and are held in place by quick release cams. The hull supports/seat pads then just slot in place and a handy kick-up stand keeps the trolley upright so the boat can be easily loaded and secured. The thick webbing retaining strap includes a quick release cam-lock buckle.

The wide pneumatic tyres give a smooth ride over the roughest of surfaces and C-Tug sandhopper wheels (right) are also available. These give load spreading capabilities so they won’t sink in soft, wet sand.  With either set of wheels the trolley is extremely compact when packed away; for example when disassembled the parts easily stow inside an Ocean Kayak bow hatch so you can take your trolley paddling with you.
